Why Samy exists

Built by someone who kept losing the thread.

I built Samy because my own head kept derailing me. A bug would pop up mid-sentence, I’d go fix it, and an hour later the thing I meant to do was still waiting. Every to-do app I tried became one more thing to keep up with. So I made the assistant I wanted: one I can just tell things to, that plans around my meetings and keeps my task in front of me.

One sign-in covers everything. Your subscription pays for the assistant behind Samy, so there’s nothing else to set up.

Your board is stored on your PC, and your voice never leaves it. To sort a thought or answer you, Samy sends that text and the parts of your board it needs to get a reply. Our server doesn’t keep that text, and the AI services we use delete it within 30 days and never train on it.

No. The connection is read only. Samy reads your meetings to plan around them and never adds, moves or deletes anything.

Capture does: a thought is saved the moment you press Enter, and voice typing runs on your PC. Sorting, planning and chat need a connection and pick up when you’re back.

Yes. The whole app switches to French and Samy answers in French. It follows your system language, or pick one in Settings.
